My computer has been doing this thing lately where it doesn't want to stay on. It's like the power cord is not registering. It's not the first time that it's done this, either. It lasts for a few days or a few weeks and then it behaves again. I always play nice with my computer, so I'm at a loss as to what I did to offend it. I even bought it some ( Read more... )

My boyfriend decided to give me my anniversary present early. He was too excited to wait. In the end, I'm glad he gave it to me now. After all the stress from my health issues, I really needed something to cheer me up. Of course, he made me cry.

Decided to bento for lunch tomorrow even though I got paid today and could afford to have lunch at Sappho's tomorrow. I figure I need to be more conscious of what I eat now than ever before, and so I tried my best to throw together a healthy bento lunch with what I had on hand. I decided to take a long, hot bath this evening to ease my aching feet. I walked home from work today. It's usually a half hour walk, about 2.4km (though in Newfoundland we tend to judge distance by how long it takes to arrive and not the physical distance, so I honestly had to look that up), mostly uphill. I am sick. I was fine last night, but I woke up this morning, and I was sick. I was shaving my legs before work, far away from any possible nose-wiping source, and had a sneezing fit. We have two throws on the couch. His mom gave me a fluffy fleece throw for Christmas, and we picked up a thinner fleece throw from Walmart because he was jealous that he didn't have his own blanket. So, now we have two blankets, but he can be a little territorial over his blanket. :p
